Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Lunar Paint website, desktop application, checkout, and support form handle information. Privacy is a core product feature: Lunar Paint does not collect or transmit your artwork, filenames, editing activity, or application usage.

Website data

The public website does not include analytics, advertising trackers, marketing pixels, fingerprinting, newsletter tracking, third-party chat widgets, or comments. The support form collects only the information you choose to submit and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. The site does not set nonessential cookies.

The website is intended to be hosted through Cloudflare. As the hosting, DNS, security, and email-routing provider, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP addresses, device or browser information, timestamps, and requested URLs to deliver and protect the service. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own policies and infrastructure settings.

Lunar Paint desktop application

Lunar Paint is designed for local use on desktop computers. It does not include telemetry, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or cloud document storage. Artwork is opened, edited, recovered, and saved on your own computer.

Application preferences, imported fonts, application data, cache data, and enabled recovery copies are stored locally in the appropriate operating-system locations. Recovery copies are removed after a successful save or an explicit discard. Lunar Paint does not receive this local data.

Purchases and downloads

The authorized store or direct-checkout provider you select processes the payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and delivery information needed to complete the purchase. Lunar Paint does not receive or store complete payment-card details. The provider's privacy notice is available during checkout.

Support requests

The support form collects the name, email address, platform, optional order or license identifier, topic, technical details, and message you choose to submit. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security signals to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. The form data is delivered privately to the support mailbox and is not used for marketing.

Support requests are used to answer the question, investigate a reported issue, maintain reasonable correspondence records, and protect the service from abuse. Do not submit confidential artwork or sensitive personal information.

Cookies and consent banners

Because the website does not use nonessential cookies or tracking technologies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner. If that changes, this policy and the website experience will be updated before the new technology is enabled.

Sharing and sale of information

Lunar Paint does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to host the website, deliver support requests, maintain security, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

Retention and security

Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve requests, maintain service history, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable steps are taken to limit access and reduce unnecessary collection.

Your choices

You control what you include in a support request. Depending on applicable law, you may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information associated with support correspondence, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the website, application, support process, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current revision.
